Olha Pilyuhina

Olha Pilyuhina is a Ukrainian artist.

1982 – was born in Reshetylivka settlement in Poltava region.

1999 – graduated from Reshetylivske Vocational School of Art with a specialisation in hand embroidery.

2002 – began participating in All Ukrainian art exhibitions.

2005 – graduated from Yuri Kondratyuk National Technical University of Poltava with a degree in "fine art and applied and decorative arts”.

2007 – becametheKotlyarevsky award winner.

2008 – the first solo exhibition took place.

2008 – joined the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

2012 – began receiving a scholarship of the President of Ukraine for young folk art masters, as a carpet weaving master.

2013 – joined the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine.

2013 – received a grant of the President of Ukraine to perform a creative work "Hetman carpet."

2005-2015 – has been working as a teacher in Poltava children's school of art. Received three certificates of appreciation from the Minister of Culture of Ukraine for her fruitful work.
